Press Release:
(Holland, MI - October 31, 2007) - Crayon Interface, Inc. a leader in mobile applications and service has partnered with Auto Page, a provider of vehicle security solutions, to provide cellular connectivity to Auto Page's new “C|3” vehicle security system. C|3 refers to “cellular car communication” and is developed off Crayon Interface's Moshi® Mobile Platform, which connects cell phone users to home, office and vehicle environments through a secure messaging service and interactive software for phones and PCs.
C|3 was unveiled this week in Las Vegas at the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) show. C|3 received two International Media Awards during the four day event which promotes the newest products serving the automotive aftermarket industry.
Unlike traditional vehicle security and remote start systems that provide up to one mile connectivity to vehicles, C|3 users can access vehicle controls - including locks, ignition, windows, sliding doors, trunk etc. - from an unlimited distance via cell phones and PCs. Crayon Interface's Moshi Platform also allows C|3 users to track vehicles through mapping software and receive security and speed notification alerts on their cell phones or PCs.
“We are excited to partner with Auto Page to deliver C|3 to the automotive security industry,” stated Kevin Virta, Crayon Interface's VP of Business Development. “Crayon's Moshi Platform provides the most secure and cost effective way of connecting car owners with their vehicles, regardless of distance and C|3 represents the most innovative vehicle security solution available!”
C|3 can be purchased nationwide through authorized Auto Page dealers beginning December 2007.
