Crayon Interface Delivers Mobility To Exhibitors At The 2009 Consumer Electronics Show
January 7th, 2009
Las Vegas - Mobility is once again a prominent theme at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Several industry leading companies will feature products that integrate with wireless devices for anytime, anywhere connectivity. Among the companies promoting innovative mobile solutions is Crayon Interface, whose mobile platform enables consumer electronics products to be located, monitored and controlled from any cell phone or internet-enabled PC. Leading companies in home security, energy management and vehicle telematics are integrating Crayon Interface's mobile platform into their offerings in 2009.
Crayon Interface's platform, called Moshi®, features innovative user interface software supported by all major phone platforms, including iPhone, BlackBerry, WinCE, Java, Brew and Android. The applications are optimized for the processing power, cellular bandwidth, and screen size and resolution of both leading edge smart phones and common cell phones alike. Crayon Interface's proprietary technology enables users to locate, monitor and control devices in the home, workplace and vehicle environments from the most prolific mobile platform available today.
Products "Powered by Moshi" are made available to consumers through partnerships with hardware providers and service providers who increase the value of their offerings by adding mobile connectivity. One example is Schlage LiNK, an intelligent residential security solution that includes the world's first mobile-enabled door lock. Offered by Schlage, the number one brand in residential door locks, Schlage LiNK delivers an affordable security and monitoring solution for the masses.
"Crayon Interface is excited to work with industry leading companies who recognize and appreciate the value that mobile brings to their products and services," said Garrick Pohl, Crayon Interface CEO. "Crayon Interface's mission is to provide location, monitoring and control solutions to the more than three billion wireless subscribers worldwide through strategic partnerships with device manufacturers and service providers."
Other Crayon Interface partners include 4Home, Inc., a leading provider of software to telecommunications and cable operators offering home management services; Hawking Technologies, provider of Homeremote Pro, the first solution to feature a mobile-enabled home automation system; and Lagotek, whose mobile-enabled Home Intelligence Platform is popular with CE Pro and Builders.
All of these companies will be demonstrating Moshi-enabled products and services at the Consumer Electronics Show this week. Crayon Interface's technology will also be on display through a vehicle telematics solution offered through AutoPage, a leader in vehicle security systems. The solution, called C3, allows users to remotely track and control their vehicles from mobile phones and PCs.
